911 - September 11, 2001:Attack on America
America's Initiation to Terror

September 11, 2001 will remain as more than a tragic attack in the history of the United States.  It marked a new era in global consciousness, national accountability, and provided another reminder of the need for citizens of this Democracy to question the efficacy of its government and leadership.

...at least 14 separate warnings... The London Times
1993 “Sociology and Psychology of Terrorism: Who Becomes a Terrorist and Why”

This is the one that attracted so much media attention.  Written for the Clinton Administration.

Written by Rex Hudson for the National Intelligence Council, a CIA-affiliated government panel that ties together numerous government and private-sector intelligence efforts

Condoleeza Rice, the Bush Administration's National Security Advisor said:

“I don’t think anybody could have predicted that these people would take an airplane and slam it into the World Trade Center, take another one and slam it into the Pentagon; that they would try to use an airplane as a missile, a hijacked airplane as a missile,” she said. “All of this reporting about hijacking was about traditional hijacking.”

These remarks, despite at least 14 separate warnings to the United States Government, as reported by the London Times, several of which came just weeks before the 911 Attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.  Many of them mentioned the possible, and at times, the probable use of commercial aircraft to strike military, political and financial targets.

The Sociology and Psychology of Terrorism: Who Becomes Terrorists and Why? was written in 1999 to inform the U.S. Government of the reasons and methods of terrorism.

There was a great deal of activity in Afghanistan by some everyday names in America -  Enron, General Electric, Unocal, the Taliban, the CIA - leading to the events of 911.  It was, of course, about oil.
